Join me for Forest Bathing at Miami Whitewater Park. During this 2 hour session, you will learn the history of Forest Bathing and about the concept of reciprocity. We will have a group sensory awareness experience and you will receive invitations to connect with nature. We will have group sharing and a closing ceremony plus much more!

We will meet at the Timberlakes Trail parking lot. My trunk will be open to offer you seating of your choice. Timberlakes Drive is off of Harbor Ridge Dr ( the main road into the park) off of West Rd. It is past the left turn to go to the lake.

Book Club- Becoming

Join me in taking a deeper dive into uncover and learn how to deal with all of the fears in our lives. Everything from the fear of illness, failure, financial worries to terrorism. We can learn to recognize, acknowledge, and release these emotions through mindful living and self-love.

Our first book is “FEAR-Essential wisdom for getting through the storm.” Witten by Thich Nkat Hanh. I chose to dive in with what I feel is one of the most common emotions that we deal with on a daily basis. Thich writes with such a tremendous amount of simplicity and sweetness. It’s instructive yet compassionate and gentle which is how we should all be with ourselves. It’s a smaller book and is available on Audio for those who enjoy that option. We will be discussing specific topics covered in the first 79 pages of the book at our first meeting in April.

My goal is to meet once every 4-6 weeks with easy reading requirements. Our time together will start with some breath work, a grounding meditation, group discussion, group mindfulness practice and closing thoughts.

This meeting is via zoom. If you have a group of people, around 6-8, and you would like a more intimate, in-person gathering, just message me and we can make special arrangements.
